hoverds of Ripple

Hi I am trying to find John Hoverd (Hovord) born Chilswickham 1801, lived in Rpple 1805 onwards, birth date and marriage to Ann born abt 1805 Upton.
Has anyone any info that may help my search thanks

I haven't been able to find anything for John and Ann on the IGI, I think you may have to contact the records office to see if they can help you.

There is a record for a 'John Hovered' & wife on the '81 census, in Shropshire...I'm pretty sure he would be your John's son....do you have that information ?

I've found this family on the 1841 census, if you think it is the right one I can look at other censuses for you:

Living: Ripple, Worcs.

John HOVORD age 40 Ag. Lab. not born in county
Ann age 35 not born in county
William 15
Emma 14
John 13
Mary 10
George 8
Sarah 4
Elizabeth 1 month

Children all born in county.

Hi Westy,

This is the entry for a John Hovered from the 1881 census...I see Maggie's 1841 census shows a son John aged 13 years, so the age and place of birth are the same.

Thanks for the responses, I have the census info but thanks anyway, it is really the birth of John and his marriage to Ann I am after at the moment.
I think I am going tohave to buy one of their children's birth certificates to find out Ann's maiden name.
