I was wondering whether the idea of a bits \'n\' Pieces section apealed to anyone. The idea would be to have an area of the site for things like parish register extracts and census extracts. We could all donate the info we have found during our research which may then help others. For example I have quite a few PR extracts for the surnames Dipple, Lacey and Tranter in the Bromsgrove area. Although not a complete transcription of the register as it only contains those names it may prove useful to others and if we all contributes it could build up quite a collection.
Any thoughts or ideas? Does it interest anyone?

Hi Sally,
I do think it's a really good idea to have a 'bits and pieces' section.
I also have lots of records that could be useful to others, some of which have been very frustrating to find (some have taken years), how nice to be able to save others from trying to solve the same problems as I had.
Have you any ideas for a lay out ? I'm asking because my research is in many other Counties than what we have on PM.
Kaye.

The bits 'n' pieces suggestions was posted last September and since then we have evolved just a little. I think this would now be better added under the relevant counties on the wiki rather than here in the forum or on pm.com.
If anyone wants me to add the links for new counties etc to the wiki just shout but remember there is nothing to stop you doing it yourselves if you feel happy with the wiki language.
Tis up to you folks. :)
Hi Sally,
For some strange reason I didn't look at the date....I feel a bit like Goofy now
