Hi Sally

just wondered whether it would be possible to add another board to the ones you have for Wales

I am currently gathering quite a lot of information on Anglesey incl. occupations

do you think we could have a board for this area?

thanks in advance

Hi Chris

Yes of course you can have the new boards ... but can you wait a few days and then you can have them on the new forum that is currently being built at parishmouse.co.uk ?

Yes I decided to do the radical thing as it is going to be easier for me in the future and it will solve the login issues and a few other issues that users don't see. It has some nice features like a notes facility for members and has a much cleaner less cluttered appearance so should be able to cope with us all much better as time goes on ... and the really important bit is I can get help from the technical support bods if there is a problem instead of me trying to sort things out on my own with the help of copious amounts of coffee.

All the users and posts will be imported to the new boards (most of them are already there) so you won't (hopefully) lose anything. The only downside which I think is small in view of the advantages we get, is that everyone will have to reset their passwords through a link ... I will send an email to everyone with a link to the page in due course.

Hi Sally

hope you are not over loading yourself with those painkillers still???

many thanks for this

I have just discovered an incredible new thread to my family tree with an usual surname of Ellithorne from Kendal - still on the paternal side but trying to work out why my ggg grandmother's siblings were 'orphaned' according to the later Census of 1861 etc

anyway, thanks again

Chris
