Firstly I have to say this is the best site I have ever been on regarding my Family and Hanley Castle. My Family the Simmonds Family lived in Hanley Castle since the late 1700s

On viewing the images from the grave yard, I see there grave is missing from the collection, I recently Visited the grave and cleaned it up, And while there I took several photo's of the grave and the inscriptions on the grave which are quite readable.

I was wondering if this missing information could be added to your excellent collection. I would be willing to send the photo's I have taken for inclusion in the gallery, who know one of my missing relatives may read it,

Thank you so much for allowing me to register, I am sure I have yet more to read and find about the people of this sleepy little village that time has forgot, and now your web site is fetching those far off days and the people back to life,

Thank you so much
Len Simmonds

Hi Len,

Thanks for the lovely comments about the site?
Most of the graves were photographed it is just a matter of getting the time to edit them and put them up on the site.? If you tell me the names of your rellies I will check and see whether I have a photo of their grave and if not I would be quite happy to add your photos to the site.

Hope you have found some interesting info on the site ... lots more to come

Hi Len

I'll check later whether I have photos of the graves and will let you know. It may be tomorrow before I can get back to you on it as I am busy finishing off a transcription of Trades & Professions for Worcester for 1820 that I hope to get added to the site later today. It's huge ... 26 pages long

Thanks for letting me know that the contacts page wasn't working ... I hate it when it just says "undefined error" ... I mean what does that tell you .. Anyway I kicked it and swore at it and threatened it with a screwdriver and it is now working

Glad you like the site.
