Hi,
Sue McKoy from Melbourne Australia here. I have just recently started corresponding with a Roger Dipple of Solihull, who may be a person of interest for you. I will send him the link to this website and your request and then he can follow up with you.
Wonderful website, thank you for your hard work. Cheers, Sue from downunder.

Hi
Sue tipped me off about this site. I hadn't heard of it.
The nearest connection I've got to Bromsgrove at the moment is Alvechurch - but that's not far away - who knows. Need more time to research!

Hi Sue and Roger
Wow another Dipple on the site ... it just gets better and better ;D My Grandmother was a Dipple born in Bromsgrove. Her father was Thomas Dipple s. of Abel Dipple.
Sue, thanks for the kind comments and hope you enjoy the site. What areas are you researching?

Hi Sally and Roger,
I've been researching the Chesshire family tree with my fourth cousin Geoffrey Chesshire in Cardif Wales UK and we've been videoconferencing over the internet every Sunday night at 9pm Oz time for almost 5 years now. Our Chesshire family come from the Lapworth, Feckenham, Solihull, Hockley Heath, Tanworth, Beaudesert area. Geoff and I have been researching all the Chesshire's, not only our direct lines, so have 1600+ people on our tree now, with surnames such as Dipple, :) Astley, Bellamy,Hickin, Lamb, Malet, Manning, Pargeter, Pressick, Weyham, etc.
Your site has given me a lot of background information which is terrific for understanding why it is so difficult to find parishes that only became parishes in 1878 or thereabouts. Your website it easy to read. May I suggest you put a link up the top of the forum pages to return you to the main parishmouse home page. I know there is one down the bottom, but one up the top would be great also.
Cheers,
Sue McKoy

Roger and Sally, the above census details come from the http://www.hunimex.com/warwick/freecens/1861/index_1861.html where I dowloaded the actual zip file and perused it. I became tired in the small hours of the morning and so some of the extended details are missing but can be confirmed from the unzipped file.

Hi Sue,
Noticed you were researching Chesshires. Have you got a James Hugh C Chesshire in your lot? He was born in the Kidderminster area in Dec 1916. I believe his mother was named Bleach (!)

Hi Sue
The links to the two sites are now at the top of the page.
Thanks for the info on the Dipples ... will now have to find sometime to go through my lot and see whether I have a match ...the Joseph Dipple born Bromsgrove is highly likely.
Many thanks and hope you are enjoying the site.

Thank you Henry D. I have a little information about him, but would love to know to whom he married. Geoff and I have two possible surnames, Joan DRURY or Joan GREEN. How did you come across his information?
Cheers, Sue

Hi Sally again, I have some pdf's about people with the surname Dipple from the UK parliamentary papers that I sent to Roger. I can't upload them here so would you like to send me your email address and I will forward them on to you?
